INDE’s AR Experience Launches at Hong Kong’s AIA Carnival

A breathtaking Ice Age themed Augmented Reality experience developed by INDE has been launched at the AIA Great European Carnival, an event taking place in Hong Kong from 21 Dec 2017 to 25 Feb 2018, featuring over 30 rides and attractions.
The giant Augmented Reality screen has been installed at the AIA Real Life Zone to provide visitors an unparalleled immersive experience, placing them side by side with some fascinating extinct creatures. Besides getting up-close and personal with the woolly rhino and mammoth from the last ice age, viewers also get to interact with some of the most realistic 3D animated dinosaurs from INDE’s Back to the Jurassic BroadcastAR experience, originally created for BBC and 20th Century Fox.
This one-of-a-kind encounter with a captivating mixture of real-world and digital elements has been made possible by exceptionally high quality 3D content created by INDE. As a custom-developed feature, the AR system’s SnapShare module automatically generates animated GIFs that allow people to share their most memorable moments with just a few clicks, using the dedicated kiosks on site.
The Great European Carnival, sponsored by insurance group AIA, is organized annually at Hong Kong’s Central Harbourfront, and attracts 1 million visitors each year. The two-month event merges the main elements of a carnival and festival into one, giant outdoor event, providing a unique variety of amusement rides, attractions and skill games for all ages.
Suitable for any space or event worldwide, INDE's BroadcastAR system keeps crowds entertained, taking audience engagement to a whole new level. BroadcastAR has already given millions of museum, zoo, theme park and shopping mall visitors the opportunity to pet a leopard, meet a life-sized T-Rex, or get splashed by orcas and dolphins in hundreds of locations worldwide.
