INDE’s AR Orca Encounter Launches at Hong Kong’s Telford Plaza

A breathtaking ocean-themed Augmented Reality experience, featuring a virtual orca and dolphin show, is stopping thousands of shoppers in their tracks at Telford Plaza, the largest regional shopping and entertainment complex in Kowloon East, Hong Kong.

Visitors can now interact with wonderful ocean creatures in a large-screen Augmented Reality experience that’s recently been installed at the mall. This Ocean Adventure gets kids and adults up close to a life-sized killer whale, walrus, dolphin and penguins.  

Photo-realistic 3D animals and animated water, combined with a water-effect floor map create a perfect mixture of digital content and real world elements, and by looking at snapshots taken by the system it is nearly impossible to tell where “real” meets 3D. This is only achievable by developing content of exceptionally high quality – something that INDE is committed to.
