Augmented Reality technology helps educate and entertain the little ones at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls, SD, as part of Brain Play, an exhibit featuring a number of hands-on activities for children of all ages.
With INDE’s large-screen AR system viewers get immersed in breathtaking scenes and interact with some amazing photo-realistic 3D creatures from Arctic Explorer, a polar experience that gets them up-close and personal with an orca, a polar bear and other animals from the Arctic, and Traveller, a truly captivating AR experience originally created for National Geographic.
UK company INDE has created the most realistic 3D animals ever made using Augmented Reality technology and given millions of zoo, museum, theme park and shopping mall visitors the unique opportunity to pet a leopard, meet life-sized dinosaurs and get splashed by orcas and dolphins, in hundreds of locations worldwide.
As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), featuring over 1,000 animals from around the world, the Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History in Sioux Falls strives to fulfill four major objectives: Education, Conservation, Recreation and Discovery.
