With MGoView users can experience the story of over 200 years of the University as they explore photos, audio, video and various 3D animations created by INDE. People can engage with dozens of unique digital and historical artifacts from the University’s archives. The app allows users to visit 30 sites significant to the University’s history, and take photos with famous UM settings and individuals.

To ensure easy navigation, the application includes path outlines from a user's current location to each site, with basic directions to the AR experience. As users visit the sites and explore the content via Augmented Reality at each location, they can make multiple achievements by unlocking badges. For certain amounts of badges collected, users can earn the right to take a picture with a historic UM personality, and can also enter the University’s giveaway to win prizes.

In order to make the app available to as many users as possible, web-based virtual exploration has also been enabled, allowing people to view 360-degree renderings of campus locations from anywhere in the world.

The application can be downloaded for free from both Google Play and iTunes.
