HeroMirror Interactive Augmented Reality Experience at Tennent’s Brewery
Overview
INDE developed this truly mind-blowing AR experience, bringing bygone Tennent Brewery founder, Hugh Tennent, “back from the dead.”
Powered by award-winning BroadcastAR software, the custom “mirror” offered visitors the chance to meet the Ghost of Hugh Tennent in a unique AR interaction and photo opportunity. INDE developed the experience, in part, using live talent and a state-of-the-art green screen production technology.

User Experience
Visitors to Tennent’s Brewery could initiate the UI with HeroMirror’s standard touchscreen interface, followed by custom-designed animated text and graphics to prompt user through the process of posing for the AR experience and photograph.
The Ghost of Hugh Tennant appears eerily beside the user, in a blended reality immersive experience captured instantly in video and photo. A countdown timer informs the user when the photo is captured, bringing the experience to a close.
The HeroMirror system instantly produces a copy of the photo—printable via a separate standalone printer—or shareable digitally, emailed directly to the user’s phone or device.
