1. Unique fan experiences featuring 9 players including George Kettle, Trey Lance & Arik Armstead in Augmented Reality.

2. Effective sponsorship activation - branded HeroMirror AR photo booths, images, videos for social sharing and branded emails.

3. Real-time fan data capture - email address, phone number and detailed engagement metrics.

4. Social sharing by design - fans open the custom-branded HeroMirror emails multiple times to view & share their branded AR images and AR videos.

Overview

San Francisco 49ers is one of the greatest NFL teams, as well as a leader in outstanding fan experiences and sponsorship strategy.

In collaboration with U.S. Bank and INDE's Augmented Reality studio, the 49ers team decided to create a 49ers-branded HeroMirror AR experience that allows fans to meet and interact with their favourite 49ers players on the concourse of Levi’s Stadium.

Experience

Using original green screen footage captured during the yearly 49ers media day, INDE's AR content team created a custom Augmented Reality mirror experience providing the highest, interactive experience-based throughput possible.

Immediately after interacting with the Players in AR through the HeroMirror, fans receive and can share their branded photos and videos on social media. Each HeroMirror is designed to engage fans intuitively, without the need for staff to assist each user.
