Kansas City’s Union Station, a fully-restored, 1914 landmark is home to a science center, a planetarium, a theater and other attractions – and now to some fascinating, life-sized AR dinosaurs, too.

INDE’s large-screen Augmented Reality experience will support the Perot Museum of Nature and Science’s “Dino Fest” event. Dino Fest is a two day celebration of all things dinosaur. The AR installation is part of the museum’s immersive learning push, and is aimed at creating dynamic exhibits and transforming education by implementing some of the latest technologies.

W5, an award-winning Interactive Discovery Centre in Belfast, has added a live-controlled Augmented Reality system called LiveAvatar, featuring SEAN the alien and other 3D characters, to their existing dinosaur-themed BroadcastAR experience. Both systems were developed and installed by UK company INDE.

Back to the Jurassic, a cinematic Augmented Reality experience developed by UK company INDE, launches as one of the highlights at Expo Dino World in Brussels, a new blockbuster exhibition with over 60 animated lifelike dinosaurs.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS) chooses Augmented Reality, a cutting-edge technology to engage, educate and entertain children and adults in a new way. T-Rex Revealed, a travelling Augmented Reality exhibition themed around National Geographic Channel’s blockbuster documentary Dino Autopsy, drew 150.000 people on the opening day in Shanghai on Oct 1, and will continue to wow huge crowds across Asia when it visits Shenyang, Jinan and other places.
