INDE's Big-screen Augmented Reality Experiences “wow” Crowds in Guatemala’s Largest Shopping Mall

Life-sized 3D T-Rexes, orcas and other digital creatures stop lucky mall-goers in their tracks as they get immersed in breathtaking Augmented Reality experiences at Pradera Concepcion Mall in Guatemala City. BroadcastAR, INDE’s large-screen AR installation will be running for a month, until October 21, 2016.

BroadcastAR lets users learn, explore and touch the untouchable while immersed in cinema quality 3D environments, and interact with photo-realistic characters in real time. The audience standing in front of a large screen get to see themselves side by side with some of the most magnificent creatures, while exceptionally high-quality, beautifully detailed 3D content makes the experience incredibly real. Snapshots taken by the system let them capture and share their best moments.

Getting up-close and personal with the wonders of nature in such a unique way fascinates both children and adults. The system has been installed on every continent to let great crowds in museums, zoos, malls and various events meet and interact with some of the most magnificent creatures in 3D.
